Tournament Information:
FC Pride Soccer Club proudly presents the 2009 FC Pride Cup presented by Under Armour to be hosted at the Lawrence Soccer Complex, Lawrence, IN (Indianapolis, Indiana). FC Pride’s goal is for the FC Pride Cup to become a destination point for premier clubs from the region to meet for great soccer competition. Lawrence, Indiana, a suburb of Indianapolis is proud to call itself “”Home of Youth Soccer” and has become a destination point for major soccer events.
2009 FC Pride Cup is sanctioned by US Club Soccer. The FC Pride Cup is open to all USSF affiliated teams.
October 3-4, 2009 and October 10-11, 2009.
This year FC Pride will play on 2 weekends. U11-U14 will play October 3-4, and U8-U10 will play October 10-11.
Age Groups: Boys and Girls U8-U14
U8-U10 (6v6) Cost: $200
There will be Championship, and First Division Flights.
All teams will play 3 games.
Playing formats: 6v6
All players will receive a participation award.
There will be special housing accomidations for U8-U10 teams.
U11-U12 (8v8) Cost: $525
- There will be Premier, Championship, and First Division Flights.
- All teams will play a minimum of 3 games.
- Playing formats: 8v8
- Awards given to First and Second Place teams.
U12-U14 (11v11) Cost: $575
- There will be Premier, Championship, and First Division Flights.
- All teams will play a minimum of 3 games.
- Playing format: 11v11
- Awards given to First and Second Place teams.
- U12 Indiana Teams may play 11v11.
- U14 Teams may have up to 3 U15 players (trapped or 8th grade players) on their rosters.
Club Discounts: Soccer Clubs who apply 8 or more teams by July 10, 2009 will receive a $50 per team discount. FC Pride will accept all teams from your club. Please check the registration page for more details.
GotSoccer Rankings: The 2009 FC Pride Cup is managed by the GOTSOCCER tournament software. Teams attending the FC Pride have the opportunity to earn bonus ranking points based on their results.
2009 FC Pride Cup is protected by Cancelation Insurance. In the event that poor weather, or any act of terror that may interrupt or force the cancelation of the FC Pride Cup your application fee is protected.
Placement:All Teams will be placed in appropriate levels based on previous performance in State Cup and selected tournaments, plus Got Soccer rankings. For specific details please see the registration page.
The Pitch: All matches will be played at the Lawrence Soccer Complex Park, Lawrence, IN (a North east suburb of Indianapolis). Lawrence Soccer Complex has hosted the following events:
